Lee Kuan Yew Prize Award Ceremony

For the third time, SOTA was invited to perform at the prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Prize Award Ceremony on 11 July as part of the World Cities Summit. The event was graced by various local and international dignitaries and hosted by Prime Minister Mr Lee Hsien Loong.

SOTA students and alumni, together with Music faculty member Mr Ramu Thiruyanam, took to the stage to perform two diverse pieces of music. Besides lively Colombian percussion music to open the ceremony, SOTA also performed “The Daffodils”, a vocal and harp piece composed by Dr Kelly Tang, Dean of Arts and Special Projects at SOTA.
