Istana Logo Design
Ms Lim presented the letters of appreciation from President Halimah Yacob to the student participants at morning assembly.
Earlier this year, the President's Office collaborated with SOTA’s Visual Arts faculty to create an original logo that captures the symbolic icon of the Istana building.
This prestigious opportunity was shared as an open call to Year 5 Visual Arts students and from this open call, 7 students stepped forward to participate. Under the guidance of Visual Arts teachers, Mr Keith Ang and Ms Vanessa Lim, the students produced four interesting designs for Istana's selection.
From the four logos presented, President Halimah selected the logo that was designed by Charlie Chua. The logo will be used on various Istana collaterals.
