SOTA Visual Arts Exhibitions

Herein Lies (31 March – 10 April)

Herein Lies

Herein Lies is an exhibition curated by Year 5 and 6 Visual Arts IBCP students. In their exploration of darkness as an environment and state of mind, engaging with its formlessness and ambiguity, the assembled works orchestrate a seemingly arbitrary yet lucid conversation amongst themselves, and with us.

3Quarters (16 – 25 April)
3Quarters

3Quarters is a yearly showcase that displays the multi-disciplinary talents of SOTA’s Year 3 and 4 Visual Art students in a variety of media such as drawing, painting, ceramics, media arts and sculpture.

DD MM YYYY (13 – 31 May)

ddmmyyyy 2

Curated by Year 5 Visual Arts students, DD MM YYYY explores the transience of time through art, with the works in the exhibition each exploring the theme of 'expiries of the everyday'. In this exhibition, the supposed completion of an artwork is challenged by continuity in the form of ongoing artistic processes, audience interpretation or interaction, or through the artwork's shift in physical form through the course of its exhibition.
