This July, the SOTA Leadership Studies Committee organised a series of special activities to celebrate Racial Harmony Day. With the theme "The Singapore Connection", SOTA reflected on the shared experiences and values that connect us as Singaporeans and pondered on how the younger generation can be empowered to remain open and inclusive. Through the comprehensive information booth and activities such as henna, Chinese calligraphy, and traditional games, students learned more about and experienced other cultures.
A big part of a culture is its unique, delicious food. The SOTA Parents generously prepared a sumptuous buffet with food from different ethnicities. View more photos of the mouthwatering spread by the SOTA Parents HERE
Students also dressed up in ethnic costumes to add to the celebratory atmosphere. We appreciate the ethnic diversity that makes our lives more colourful!
