SOTA students got real in a fun way for a social media video with The Smart Local to debunk some common misconceptions about studying in SOTA. The students responded to comments made on Facebook and gave us a little insight to what it is really like studying at SOTA.

To prepare for the video, focus groups were conducted with selected students to find out some of the common questions they had been asked about SOTA. Apart from everyone having a good laugh, it was also interesting to notice the similarities in their experience.

The 6 students involved, Arif Arman Khan (Year 3, Theatre), Delia Shamaney (Year 3, Visual Arts), Eda Chua (Year 3, Music), Giselle Gabrielle Sim (Year 3, Dance), Matthew Loo (Year 2, Theatre) and Misha Ghosh (Year 1, Literary Arts), headed down to The Smart Local office for an afternoon of supervised filming and unsupervised pantry raiding. We hope you enjoyed the video and understand a little more about SOTA. Giselle and Eda could not have said it any better, “We are the in-between”.  Check out the video here!
