Jasmine graduated with a Bachelor of Science with Merit from the National University of Singapore, majoring in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Applications. She went on to receive her Postgraduate Diploma in Education as well as a Masters of Education from the National Institute of Education (NIE), Singapore.

Jasmine has taught in the Gifted Education Programme at Nanyang Girls’ High School. She had the opportunity to attend courses that equipped her in understanding the profile and teaching of gifted learners. Jasmine also received training in developing a differentiated curriculum that will best cater to the learning needs of her students. She has undergone International Baccalaureate’s specialised training in teaching Mathematics and in guiding students for their Creativity, Action, Service projects.

At the age of four, Jasmine started attending music lessons. She has attained a Grade 6 in both the Electone (Yamaha) and Piano (ABRSM). During her school days, Jasmine was a flutist in the Symphonic Band where she participated in competitions and performances. Understanding the joy derived from music, Jasmine seeks to integrate the Arts with Mathematics so as to deliver a holistic classroom environment.
