SOTA: School of the Arts Singapore
Danny received a full scholarship grant from the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, National University of Singapore (in collaboration with the Peabody Institute of John Hopkins University) and earned his Bachelor of Music Honours Degree in Composition. He was also granted a full artist scholarship from Saint Louis University for his Bachelor of Science in Commerce. In 2011, Danny was awarded with the highest prize by the Goethe-Institut Singapore at the Young Composers in Southeast Asia Competition and Festival, and subsequently, the NUS Student Achievement Awards in 2013.

Danny has participated and presented his works in various music festivals and competitions in Europe, such as the Impuls Festival in Graz, Austria, Donaueschinger Musiktage in Germany, and the Synthetis International Summer Music Course in Poland, to name a few. He has scored several film projects from the New York University and other independent film makers in Europe and the Southeast Asian region.

As a music educator, Danny is dedicated in mentoring innovative compositional approaches and exploration of new sound worlds using computer programs and hardwares. Danny is also an active member of the Sari-sari Philippine Kulintang ensemble in Singapore, and a freelance tenor chorister.
